Obituary for Warren Calvin "Sonny" Parker Jr.
Warren Calvin Parker Jr., affectionately known as Sonny-age 64 of Bean Station went to be with the Lord Friday evening, January 5, 2018 at The Heritage Center in Morristown with his loving sister and life-long caretaker by his side. He was a sweet and very loving brother and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren C. Parker, Sr., mother, Betty Ruth Long Parker, infant sister, Nancey Parker; grandparents, Robert and Hattie Parker; John and Eva Long, brother-in-law, Richard "Pug" Bishop.
He is survived by his sister, Robyn Bishop; Nephews: Chris and Alicia Greene, Daniel and Bridgett Bishop; great-nieces, Danni Bishop, Eilee Bishop, Jada Reagan, and Jacklyn Greene. The family would like to express their special thanks to his caregivers and especially Colleen of The Heritage Center.
A private memorial service will be held at Dalton Cemetery, Bean Station at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to help cover his final expenses or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or The Shriner's. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
