Obituary for June Eilene Bailey (Clarkson)

June Eilene Bailey-age 89 of Washburn passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She was a member of Pennington Chapel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by daughter, Georgetta; parents, Arvilee and Vesta Clarkson; brother, Virgil Clarkson; sisters, Frances Hopson and Harriett Gray.

Survivor by husband of 72 years, Ralph; son and daughter-in-law, Coy and Sharon Bailey.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m., Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Adam Nicely, Rev. Richard Nicley officiating with music by Richard and Linda Nicley. Interment 11 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017, Cabbage Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10 a.m. Friday to go in the procession. Pallbearers: Curt Whitson, Gene McBee, Greg Sharp, Richie Chesney, Eddie Bailey, Gary Kitts. Honorary Pallbearers: Virgil Yadon, Gerald Kitts, Elmer Nicely, Leonard Nicely, Stanley Smith, Jack Simmons. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
