Gaynell Joyce (Collins) Cox-age 79 of Maynardville. Heaven gained an angel Friday, March 3, 2017. She went home to be with the Lord and died peacefully at her home. She was a member of Nave Hill Baptist Church. Gaynell loved to cook for her family and loved all her family dearly. Preceded in death by husband, Clondo Cox; parents, Rev. Conley Austin and Margaret Lillian Collins; brothers, John and Robert; sisters, Mary Tolliver and Shirley Collins.

Survivors: daughter, Sharon Cox; son, Rev. Bobby and Teresa Cox; her loving grandchildren, Jackie and Shea Ervin, Chase and Kara Cox, Joshua Mynatt and Chelsea Cox; loving great-grandchildren, Seth, Tyler, Isaac, Kassie, Makynli, Autumn and Alyssa. Brothers, Jack, Jerry, Paul, Bill, Dale, Phil and Benny Collins; sisters, Nancy Jeanette, Anne, Shelia and Renee; special nephew, Scott Tolliver and family. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017 with memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Michael Keck with music by her double first cousins, The Collins Sisters. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
