Obituary for Martha Helen Patrick

Martha Dise Patrick-age 81 of Luttrell, TN passed away Sunday morning, January 29, 2017. She attended school in Mt. Rainier, MD and held a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Maryland. She did cancer research for the National Institutes of Health in Washington, D.C. and worked for the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute in Washington, D.C. afterward becoming a consultant to the nuclear power industry and retired from the Oak Ridge operations.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ervin Edwin Dise and Melcina Elvira Gray Dise. Survivors: husband, Everett J. Patrick of Luttrell; children, Diana Gobbett Clark and husband, Dave of Maryland; William (Willie) Gobbett of Arizona; Ted Gobbett of Baltimore, Maryland; step-children, Gary Patrick and wife, Laura of Sevierville; Jeff Patrick and wife, Julie of Missouri; Evette Patrick of Corryton, Tennessee; Evonne Patrick Butner and husband, Michael of Jacksonville, Alabama; Jason Patrick and wife, Nikki of Ringgold, Georgia. Seven Grandchildren. Half-sisters, Melcina Trussell of Maryland and Sue Weakley of Connecticut.
