Obituary for Violet Ann Wilson (Turner)

Violet A. Wilson-age 63 of Knoxville passed away suddenly Friday morning, October 7, 2016 at her home. Preceded in death by husband, Thomas Edward Lamb, Sr.; parents, J. C. and Sudie Turner; brothers, Junior and Johnny Welch; sister, Carolyn Welch.

Survivors: six children, Melissa Rouse; Thomas Lamb, Jr.; Robert Lamb and wife, Veronica; Erika Lopez and husband, Jamie; John Lamb and wife, Deanie Bishop-lamb; Michelle Lamb, all of Knoxville. 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Brothers, Creed and Charles Welch; sister, Christy Welch. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 with funeral service to follow, Rev. Gary Chandler officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow 2 p.m. Monday, New Gray Cemetery, Knoxville. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
