Obituary for Harold Edward "Possum" Satterfield
Harold Edward (Possum) Satterfield-age 81 of Luttrell, born February 1, 1935 passed away Saturday morning, September 24, 2016 at Willow Ridge Center. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired boilermaker. Member of J. C. Baker Lodge #720 F. & A.M. Preceded in death by wives, Jewell Dean Satterfield and Anna S. Satterfield; daughter, Diane Wallace; step-daughter, Kim Branum; parents, Aubrey and Ermalee Satterfield; brother, Ronald Satterfield.
Survivors: son, Eddie Satterfield and wife, Teresa; daughters, Irma Swafford and husband, Keith; Robin Hickman; Jennifer Satterfield and Daren Ritter; step-daughters, Linda Munsey, Judy Major and husband, Park; step-son, Mike Williams. Several very loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 with a masonic service at 8 p.m. by J. C. Baker Lodge #720. Funeral service to follow, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Larry Cooper, Pastor Kathy Chesney officiating with music by Teresa Bays, Amanda Hurst and Wade Brantley. Interment 10 a.m. Wednesday, Milan Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Daniel Satterfield, Scott Satterfield, Jess Zachary, Judd Zachary, Dustin Graham, Jerry Turner. Honorary Pallbearers: Aubrey Wallace, Jason Wallace, Ethan Ritter and Nathan Ritter.
