Obituary for Gloria Diane Lawson

Gloria Diane Lawson entered into eternal rest July 4, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Maynardville, Tennessee. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Doris Lawson, formerly of Lynch, Kentucky; one brother, Thomas Lawson (Tommy and Dana) of Ormond Beach, Florida; brother-in-law, John Monhollen, Lynch, Kentucky; and her only son, Glenn Allen Jones of Pineville, Kentucky. She is survived by her siblings, Lloyd (Wanda) Lawson of Pineville, KY; Diniah (David) Bailey of Jasper, Alabama; Darlene Lawson Monhollen of Lynch, KY and Timothy Charles Lawson of Tallahassee, Florida. Surviving children include, Melissa Denise Cox (Jim) of Johnson City, TN and Laura Ann Brown of Maynardville, TN. She raised two of her grandchildren; Stephen Brown of Johnson City, TN and Brittany (Justin) Profitt of Harrogate, TN. Other surviving grandchildren are: Erica Ingram, Toni Settles, Chase Dye, all of Johnson City, TN, and Jessica Teague of Pineville, KY. She has ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will not be conducted. A memorial service in memory of Gloria Diane Lawson will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
