Obituary for Corum Henderson "C.H." Wolfenbarger

C.H. Wolfenbarger-age 86, was born in Washburn, Tennessee on July 7th, 1933 and passed away September 1st, 2019 in White Lake, Michigan. Beloved, he rose to heaven surrounded by his loving family. He was attentively cared for by his son, Jim Wolfenbarger and family after suffering a stroke in 2002 causing a slow decline of dementia. He celebrated Christmas and spent the winters with his daughter, Sherry Wolfenbarger Cagan and family in California. He was born to Corum & Alta (Gilbert) Wolfenbarger and brother to June McGinnis and Juanita Frye and was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He married Lanna Jean (Bright) Wolfenbarger November 7th, 1958. The couple had two children together: Sherry Wolfenbarger (Laird) Cagan of Portola Valley, California and James Allan (Ann-Marie) Wolfenbarger of White Lake, Michigan. He was a dear Grandfather of Katina (Brett) Domeyer, Briana Wolfenbarger, Emily Wolfenbarger, Kyla Cagan and Kiana Cagan and a dear Great Grandfather of Kinsley Domeyer.
C.H. graduated from Washburn High school in Washburn Tennessee and went on to join and serve in the army. He owned and operated Michigan Motors, a collision shop in Waterford Michigan for over 20 years. Loved by all, his shop and home was the hang out for many friends and family. His hard working, considerate and content character was admired, he would give the shirt off his back to help others. C.H. was known for his sense of humor, sharp wit and kind heart, he was most often lovingly referred to as a gentle sweet man. C.H. loved antique and race cars. His mint 56 Chevy has been a part of his life before the birth of his children. The Woodward Cruse will not be the same. Pops you will be missed!

The celebration of his life burial service will be held 11 A.M. Friday September 6, 2019 at McGinnis-Harrell Cemetery, Washburn, Tennessee, Rev. Jerry Epperson officiating. Military rites will be performed by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery by 10:30 A.M. Friday. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
