Obituary for Mary Lee "DeeDee" Montooth
Mary Lee Montooth-age 74 of Luttrell also known to all as DeeDee passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her home. She was preceded in death by husband, Bryan K. Montooth; mother, Tressie E. Chittum; father, Harvey Chittum, Sr.; sister, Mary Jane Strevel; brothers, Reese and Harvey Chittum, Jr.; niece, Teresa Hope Chittum.
She leaves behind a niece, Joni L. Rogers and her husband, Michael P. Rogers, Sr.; niece, Jasmine L. Rogers; nephew, Robert A. Johnson; brother, Gene Chittum; sister, Wanda Gerald; foster-son, Chris Shannon. Friends of the family, Brian Rains and Tony Strevel. Several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of services now, the family will be having a celebration of life at a later date to be determined. Also in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
