Obituary for Mattie Louhanna Masingo
Mattie L. Masingo-age 86 of Sharps Chapel passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Sillus Masingo; grandson, Thomas Harrell; parents, James and Nancy Elizabeth Ray; seven brothers and sisters, George Ray, Margaret Hall, Wonnie Ray, James Ray, Harvey Ray, Lewis Ray and Mossie Mills.
Survivors: sons, Verlin Masingo, Charles Masingo, Steve Masingo, J. R. Masingo, Jackie Masingo; daughters, Frances Kistler, Kitty Sharp, Elizabeth Obrien, Mossie Masingo and Terri Rutherford. 29 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Monday, July 23, 2018 with funeral service to follow 8 P.M. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Randy Moore officiating. Interment 1 P.M. Tuesday, July 24, 2018, Blue Springs Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers: Verlin Masingo, Charles Masingo, Steve Masingo, J. R. Masingo, Derrick Miller, Steve Masingo, Jr. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
