Kathleen "Kathy" Jane  Thompson
Kathleen (Kathy) Thompson-age 63 of Maynardville passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at her home. She was a proud CNA employee of Tennova Residential Hospice from the time it opened till the time it closed. Preceded in death by husband, Donnie (Smokey) Thompson; parents, Leslie Berger and Joan Gazley.

Survivors: Children: Tammy and Dan Woodard, Michael and Jennifer Thompson, Kelsey and Glen Johnson, Bobbie and Jim Walker; sister, Vicki Brogan; 13 grandchildren, A.J., Amber, Emily, Blake, Justin, Kyle, Angel, Joe, Aaron, Nikki, Madison, Will, Chris and four great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Monday, April 30, 2018 with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Robbie Corum officiating. Interment service 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway, Knoxville. Please meet at the cemetery by 11:15 A.M. Tuesday. Pallbearers: Justin Johnson, Aaron Walker, Joe Walker, Chris Walker, Will Thompson, Kyle Miller, A.J. Blackburn, John Blake Williams. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
