Linda F. Thomas-age 70 of Maynardville went to be with the Lord in her forever home Monday, April 2, 2018 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center following a long illness. She was a member of Ailordale Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, James and Mary Sturgeon; infant daughter, Connie; brothers, James and Ray Sturgeon; sister, Bernice Clark.

Survivors: husband of 53 years, Lowell Thomas; daughters, Felicia Thomas Diehl and Jennifer Thomas Fuqua; granddaughters, Samantha J. Moretz and husband, Chad; Jessica Lee Clabough, Autumn H. Diehl; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Brian, Katlyn and Christopher Moretz, Carter and Micah Lewis; sisters, Lucille Sturgeon, Patty Sturgeon, Katherine Longmire and husband, Kenneth; brothers, R. C. Sturgeon, Chester Sturgeon along with a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 with memorial service to follow 7 P.M. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Adam Nicely officiating, music by Robin Grissom. Interment 1 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Ft. Sumpter Community Cemetery, Halls. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
