Obituary for Charlotte Alana Ridenour

Charlotte Alana Ridenour-age 69 of Knoxville passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Ft. Sander’s Regional Medical Center. Preceded in death by son, Randy Ridenour; parents, mother, Eula Vee Ridenour; fathers, Lillard Ray and Wade Ridenour; sisters, Pat (Spooks) Ricker; Bobbie Ray; brother, Jack Painter. Charlotte was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survived by husband, John Ridenour; brother, Jimmy Ray and wife, Carolyn; children, Nancy Riggs; John Ridenour, Jr. and wife, Christy; Jimmy Sluder; Vickie Ridenour; Alana Dozier and husband, Robby; Sheila Ridenour; Leanne (Nikki) Carr and husband, Darrell; Jessica Maples. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In her words, “I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.”

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jim Myers officiating. Interment 2 P.M. Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Luttrell Cemetery, Luttrell. Family and friends will meet at 1 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home to go in the funeral procession. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
