David James Hickman Sr., age 67 of St. Louis, MO and Luttrell, TN went to be with the Lord suddenly on March 4, 2018. He was born on January 22, 1951 to the late Joe and Ilean Hickman. David was a proud veteran of the Vietnam Era serving as Private First Class from 1969-1975. He loved his family, made everyone laugh and would give you the shirt off his back. The self-proclaiming Dr. Rev. David J., never met a stranger and could make anyone crack a smile with a “Hellfar!” David is preceded in death by wife Anna Marie (Buckner) Hickman of Luttrell; son Myke Collier of North Carolina; sister Lura Tipton of Missouri and brother Randy
Hickman of Luttrell;

He leaves behind a broken hearted family that he dearly loved including wife Lori Hickman of Missouri; daughter Ava Padgett and husband Allen, son David Hickman Jr. and wife Missy, daughter Susan Acuff and husband Doug, all of Maynardville, and daughter KristinaTerry of Alabama; grandchildren, Ashley and husband Ethan Mike, Allison and husband Jordan Campbell, Alex Padgett, Preslee Hickman, and Dallasia and Kali Terry; great-grandchildren Nettie Mike and Leyton Campbell arriving soon; siblings Kenny (Shirley) Hickman, Brodie (Dorothy) Hickman, Avis Michael (Virginia) Hickman, Joann Wolfe, and Patti (Olen) Wallace; step- children Rory, Rodney, and Melanie; step-grandchildren Nicholle (Adel), Ian, Arnella, and Lejla; with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were very special to him.
A veteran’s service will be held in Missouri later this week.
