Clyde Nicely, Jr, age 81 of Maynardville went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Willow Ridge after a battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was retired for 12 years to enjoy being with his granddaughters. He loved the Lord and his family more than life. He was a member of Pennington Chapel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Wife, Rowena Mayes Nicely; Parents, Clyde & Kate Nicely; Sister, Helen Huskey and Gaynell Nicely.

Survived by: Loving wife, Sandy Nicely; devoted son, Steve Nicely, daughter-in-law, Cyndy Nicely; adored granddaughters, Rylie & Kylie Nicely; brother, Rev. Richard (Linda) Nicely; sisters, Mabel (Pat) Muncey, Dorothy Cloud and Faustine Beeler. Several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Richard Nicely, Rev. Kevin Sexton, Rev. Stacy Crawford officiating with music by Richard and Linda Nicely. Graveside services 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Pleasant View Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers: Richie Nicely, Chuck Huskey, Joe Nicely, Jim McElhaney, Bea Bub Munsey, Terry Munsey; Honorary Pallbearers: Eddie Munsey, Stacy Crawford, Tony Savage, Ermal Flatford, Frank Shelton, Pat Munsey, Clarence Nicley. The family would like to thank Willow Ridge Care & Rehab for all the loving care they provided during Clyde’s illness. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
