Obituary for Wayne Brown

Wayne Brown-age 78 of Maynardville passed away Monday evening, December 11, 2017 at Willow Ridge Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by daughter, Mary Brown; son, Michael Brown; parents, Willie and Mollie Brown; brothers, Glenn, Lon and Neal Brown.

Survivors: daughter, Sandy Muncey and husband, Jerry; sons, Tony Brown and wife, Karen; Donnie Brown and wife, Sheila; former wife, Juanita “Bea” Brown, grandchildren, Jessica Erwin, Cassandra and Bridget Muncey, Ashley and Shane Brown, Tosha, Rosie, Cassie and Dusty Brown; step-grandchild, Kasey Crawford; five great-grandchildren; brother, Howard Brown and wife, Louise; sisters, Cleo Nicely, Gloria Jean Dyer and Gracie Nicley. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 with funeral service following 7 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Richard Nicley officiating with music by Richard and Linda Nicley. Interment 2 p.m. Thursday, Burch Cemetery, Claiborne County. Family and friends will meet 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Jeff Brown, Shane Brown, Dillan Keck, Doug Crawford, Bobby Brown, Steven Brown, Jeff Crawford. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
