George Charles  Ries
George Charles Ries, age 76 of Luttrell, TN took his Heavenly journey Wednesday, November 15, 2017. He was a member of Powder Springs Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher and Trustee. U. S. Air Force Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Charles Ries from River Edge, NJ and Step-Son, Danny Creech, Jr. of Luttrell.

Survived by his wife (Y) Dylida (Williams) Ries, Step-Son, John Creech, Daughters Christine and Kimberly Ries of Cleveland, Ohio, Sister Patricia (Robert) Corcoran form Ridgewood, NJ. Nieces, Karen (David) McGlashan and Debbie Burns, nephews, Michael (Bonnie) Corcoran, Brian Corcoran, five Step-Grandchildren. Many dear family and friends. Special buddy “Buster.”

The family will receive friends 12-2 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Darrell Williams, Rev. Steven Branscomb officiating with music by the Williams Family. Military graveside services will follow at Haun Cemetery, Luttrell presented by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard along with Rev. Keith Williams and Rev. Paul Carter. Pallbearers: Steve Bailey, Rodney Pratt, Joey Bailey, Josh Tharpe, Gary Tharpe, Wayne Brock. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
