Obituary for Fred Eugene Effler

Fred Effler-age 93 of Maynardville passed away Thursday evening, January 19, 2017 at Kindred Healthcare. He was a member of Texas Valley Baptist Church. Preceded in death by wife, Tilda Carr Effler; grandson, Stacy Fields. Survivors: daughters, Brenda (Randel) Williams; Rebecca Fields; Elizabeth (Ricky) Huschka; son, David (Karen) Effler; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Brother, Homer Effler. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Saturday, January 21, 2017 with funeral services to follow at 7 P.M. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Michael Johnson officiating with music by Rodney Fields. Interment 2 P.M. Sunday, Texas Valley Church Cemetery, Knoxville. Family and friends will meet by 1 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession. Pallbearers: Rodney Fields, Jason Fields, Robert Effler, Allen Cooper, John Capps, Quinton Williams, Brandon Williams, Zane Williams. Honorary Pallbearers: Randel Williams, Rick Huschka. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas Valley Church Building Gund, 7100 Texas Valley Road, Knoxville, TN 37938. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
