Shelby Jean Beeler-age 78 of Luttrell passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 31, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital-Ft. Sanders. She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Hughie Beeler; parents, Albert and Bonita Hensley; father and mother-in-law, Luther and Dorothy Beeler.

Survivors: son, Mickey Beeler of Maynardville; daughter, Vickie Beeler of Luttrell; grandchildren, Dean Beeler of Luttrell; Cody and Stephanie Beeler of Maynardville; brothers, James and Cathy Hensley of Maynardville; Doyle Hensley of Luttrell; sisters, Kathy Hensley of Luttrell; Tracy and Joey Merriman of Luttrell. Good friend, Nora Childress of Knoxville. Nephews and nieces, Stephen and Dusty Hensley, Nathaniel and Shaylagh Merriman; great-nephews, Nathan Cooper, Hank Hensley, Steve Cooper. The family would like to thank all of the Doctors and nurses at Fort Sanders Emergency Room, I.C.U. and Select Specialty Hospital. To the special nurse, Rhonda, who was so good to us during the last day of our mom’s life and for the prayer she said for our mom and us.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m., Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Steve Ailor officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Saturday, Beeler Cemetery, Highway 370, Luttrell. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home to go in the funeral procession.
