Pat and Michael,
I am sorry about your daddy and if I could be there with you now I would wrap my arms around your neck much like your mom would do me when I was hurting and just hold me. You know Junior is gone home to rest in God’s arms. Where God has taken every pain and suffering away from him. That won’t keep us from grieving for ourselves though. He was a dear man to me when I was growing up, both religiously and through family. He was one of the old time Christians that I looked up to. Both him and your mom. Song leading and singing is how I will remember him best, singing the old time Christian songs. I thank God for him. He had a burden for my soul long before God saved me and I know he prayed for me. I will pray that God will show your family peace, mercy, and his everlasting love through all this. Most of all I pray that he will shower down blessings that your cups cannot contain because Junior would not want grieving but for everyone to get a blessing through his own passing. I love you all. You’re my family. My heart is aching to know yours is. I’m praying for you.
