Myrtle Anne Covington-age 59 of Strawberry Plains passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Physicians Regional Medical Center with her husband by her side. Those who knew Ann will remember her kindness and sense of humor. She was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Ray Covington; sisters, Sue Caughorn and Ruth Shipley; brothers, Freddie Hammonds and Donnie Hammonds. Children, Robert Hammond and several kids out of state. Adopted daughter, Jackie Brown; adopted son, Josh Brown. 27 grandchildren; 7 adopted grandchildren. Special aunt, Gracie Hartgrove.

The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Monday, September 10, 2018 with funeral service to follow at 8 P.M. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Eddie Smart officiating. Interment 11 A.M. Tuesday, September 11, 2018, Skaggs Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:30 A.M. Tuesday to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers: family and friends. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
