Obituary for Carson Munsey
Carson Munsey-age 82 of Washburn passed away 5:35 A.M. Monday, August 6, 2018 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness. He was saved at an early age. Retired employee of Star Construction. Preceded in death by parents, James “Bud” and Alma “Dee” Munsey; children, John Munsey, LouAlma Graves; brother, Verlin Munsey.
Survivors: Loving wife, Blanche Munsey; son, James “Jimmy” Munsey and wife, Kay; grandchildren, Lynn (Amanda) Graves, Jason (Nicole) Munsey, Crystal (Matthew) Duck, Torrie (Rachel) Munsey, Katlyn, Brittany, Chelsea and Summer Munsey. Seven Great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 with funeral services to follow at 8 P.M. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Travis Proffitt, Rev. Jeff McMurray officiating with music by Richard and Linda Nicley. Interment 11 A.M. Thursday, Cabbage Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10 A.M. Thursday to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Lynn Graves, Jason Munsey, Matthew Duck, Torrie Munsey, Zack Graves, Hunter Munsey. Honorary Pallbearers: Riley Munsey, Carson Munsey, Logan Graves. In lieu of flowers, donations for expenses will be accepted at the funeral home or by the family. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
