Dale Kent "Red"  Grizzell
Dale (Red) Grizzell-age 82 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his home after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was of the Baptist faith. Dale served honorably in the United States Army August, 1953 to August, 1959. Following his active military service, Dale worked for Rohm and Haas Company in industrial maintenance until he retired in 1996. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 21 years, Margaret (Margie) Browning Grizzell; parents, Andrew and Ora Grizzell; brother, Andrew Grizzell.

Dale is survived by his children, Andy Grizzell and wife, Jeanni of Seymour; daughter, Elizabeth Grizzell Steen and husband, Paul of San Diego, California; step-children, Debbie Zielinski and husband, Patrick of Chicago, Illinois; Gordy Ervin and wife, Becky of Seymour; grandchildren, Kasey Grizzell, Bronte and Kiersten Steen, Kylie Bearden, Leah Rager and fiancé, Brandon Hines, Jacob and Rebekah Ervin, Courtney Barker and husband, James; special cousins, Frances Allen and Lynn Atchley.

The family will receive friends 10-11:30 A.M. Saturday, July 28, 2018, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, with a military graveside service following at 12 Noon Saturday, Braden Cemetery, Maynardville, Rev. Tom King officiating along with Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, 220 Highway 61-E, Maynardville, Tennessee.
