L. D. Nicley-age 68 of Maynardville went to his eternal home Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at his home. He was a member of Elm Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed many years driving eighteen wheelers, fishing on the lake and spending time with family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Taylor and Della B. Nicley; sister, Dian Williams; daughter, Kim Nicely.

Survivors: loving wife of 37 years, Joyce; sons, Teddy (Kandye); Jamie (Brandy), Ronnie (Kimberly), Travis (Jessica) and Jacob Nicley, daughters, Missy (Mike) Burkhart, Chloe and Delilah Nicley. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brothers, Rev. Leon Nicley and wife, Thelma, Jackie Nicley and wife, Karen; sisters, Ruby Bailey and Edna Davis; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Friday, June 8, 2018 with funeral service to follow at 8 P.M. Friday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Leon Nicley officiating with music by The McClure Family. Interment 11 A.M. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Nicley Family Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:15 A.M. Saturday to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Travis Nicley, Ronnie Nicley, Jamie Nicley, Austin Nicely, Jerry Nicely, Cody Nicley. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
