Douglas Lee Hensley-age 37 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at U.T. Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Fairview Baptist Church, Corryton. Preceded in death by grandparents, Verlin and Ruth Hensley; Geneva Powell Dyer; aunt, Rhonda Kay Powell Leeper.

Survivors: sons, Connor and Ethan Hensley; father and step-mother, Sonny and Alma Hensley; mother, Karen Dorsey; brothers, Matthew Hensley and Steven Hensley; step-sisters, Valerie Kirkland, Christie McMahan and Heather McMahan; grandfather, Joe Powell; aunts, Carolyn Washam, Judy Beason, Vickie Sayne; uncles, David Powell, Randy Powell, Darrell Hensley and Kenneth Hensley. Several cousins and a host of friends.

Memorial service and visitation with the family will be held 12-4 P.M. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Heavenly View Missionary Baptist Church, 6624 Collins Lane, Knoxville, Tennessee 37918, Rev. Glen Kitts, Pastor Randy Carver officiating. A meal will follow the services. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
