Virgie Asher-age 75 of Sharps Chapel, formerly of Hazard, Kentucky went home to be with her Heavenly Father Monday afternoon, May 7, 2018 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. She was retired employee of Clayton Homes of Maynardville. Preceded in death by father, Thomas Stacey; mother, Pauline Stacey.

Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Katelyn Asher of Maynardville; Brian and Barbara Anderson of Sharps Chapel. Six grandchildren, Jennifer Mills and husband, Joel, Anthony Anderson, Christopher Cody, Jonathon Asher, Nathan Asher, Samantha Asher; three great-grandchildren, Stacie-Ann Mills, Blake Mills, Alexis Mills along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel. Interment 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, Blue Springs Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 9:45 a.m. Friday to go in the funeral procession.
