Obituary for David Charles "Roadrunner" Chesney

David Charles “Roadrunner” Chesney-age 67 of Luttrell went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday afternoon, May 6, 2018 at his home. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. David was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church and a U. S. Veteran. He was a retired truck driver for Claiborne Hauling. Preceded in death by parents, James “Rass” and Joise Vernis Chesney; nephew, Little Rick Houston.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Lynn Graves; grandsons, Zachary and Logan Graves; special friend, Kay Chesney; brothers, Carl and Carolyn Chesney, Larry and Ellen Chesney; sister, Kathy (Rick) Houston. Several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Joe Graves officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018, Savage Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Danny Savage, L. E. Savage, Brisco Harless, Buddy Bailey, Skyler Bailey, Stacey Shope. Honorary Pallbearers: Zachary Graves and Logan Graves; Drivers of Claiborne Hauling. In lieu of flowers, donations towards funeral expenses may be made at the funeral home. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
