James E. Grubb-age 73 of Luttrell went home to be with the Lord Saturday evening, January 6, 2018 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Nancey Grubb; brother-in-law, Doug Kitts; sisters-in-law, Marla Grubb, Molly Grubb and Loretta Grubb.

Survivors: wife, Susan Grubb of Luttrell; sons, James E. Grubb, Jr. of Luttrell; Jeffery Allen Grubb and Joshua Grubb, both of Indiana; several grandchildren; brothers, Arthur Grubb and Leonard Grubb, both of Indiana; Wayne Grubb and wife, Linda of Luttrell; sisters, Betty Kitts, Teresa Satterfield and husband, Eddie, all of Luttrell; Glenda Justus and husband, Frank of Seymour. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 with funeral service to follow 2 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Robin Ryder, Rev. DeWayne Kitts officiating with music by Teresa Cooper. Interment to follow at Big Barren Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Johnny Nolan, Rick Hutchison, Darren Ritter, Scott Satterfield, Danny Satterfield, Frank Justus.
