Obituary for Sally Pratt Grimes Berry

Sally Grimes Berry-age 84 of Maynardville went on to be at peace Saturday morning, December 23, 2017 at her home. She was a member of Old Rugged Cross Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Pat and Mary Pratt; sisters, Lizzie Ray, Lassie Ray, Jessie Sharp, Mossie Sands, Ruby Sharp, Dobie Maggie Ray; children, Shirley Noland, Helen Jordon, Lucille Russell; daughters-in-law, Patsy Grimes and Naomi Grimes; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

With her passing, she has left behind four children, Franklin (Dee) Grimes, Joey (Joe) Grimes, David Grimes and Randy Grimes; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren. Countless other family and friends that are going to miss her. Sally was a hard worker who tried to help everyone she could. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and she will be dearly missed.

Funeral services 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 26, 2017, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Monty Walker officiating with music by Cynthia Smith and Alder Springs Singers. Interment to follow at Haun Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Cody Faulkner, Little Dee Grimes, Michael Walker, Stevie Brown, Dwight Jordon and J. C. Ray. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Monday, December 25, 2017 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
