Obituary for Lelia Kiser Gentry

Lelia Gentry-age 88 of Maynardville, born August 16, 1929 passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Millers Chapel United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Hubert Gentry; parents, Luther and Daisy (Koontz) Kiser; sisters, Stella Archer, Romey Sharp, Lassie Welch, Bessie Hoskins, Dorthy Woods; brothers, Clyde, Amos, Abra, James and Lamer Kiser; two grandchildren, Rebecca Hunt, Jackie Garriga; two great-grandchildren, James Smith, Molly Payne.

Survivors: daughter, Linda Brewer, Maynardville; sons, Charles (Alberta) Gentry, Saucier Mississippi, Gary Gentry of Maynardville; Eight Grandchildren, 16 Great-grandchildren, 2 Great-great-grandchildren. Sister, Gladys Cumby, Maynardville. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Friday, November 24, 2017 with funeral services to follow at 7 P.M. Friday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Mike Samples officiating. Interment 11 A.M. Saturday, November 25 2017, Union Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10 A.M. Saturday to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Darrell Smith, Bryson Smith, Josh Payne, Jessee Brandner, Kenneth Kiser, Handy Kiser; Honorary Pallbearers: Claude Kiser and Darrell Coppock. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
