Darrell J. Norris-age 80 of Elkhart, Indiana, formerly of Maynardville passed away Thursday morning, October 19, 2017 at Goshen Hospital, Goshen, Indiana surrounded by the family. Darrell was of the Baptist faith and was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather. He was member of J. C. Baker Lodge #720 F. & A.M. for many years. Preceded in death by mother, Pearl Norris Patterson; wife, Vola Whited Norris; son, Darrell E. Norris.

Survivors: son, Marty (Yolanda) Norris of Goshen, Indiana; daughter, Jeannie (Joe) Chadwell of Knoxville. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren

The family will receive friends 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville. Masonic service 1:30 P.M. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, presented by J. C. Baker Lodge #720 F. & A.M. The family and friends will then proceed in procession to Cox Cemetery, Maynardville for a graveside service at 2 P.M. Sunday, Rev. Buddy Coppock officiating.
