Obituary for Charles Lonnie Bailey

Charles Lonnie Bailey-age 67 of Washburn passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his home. He was a member of Powder Springs Baptist Church and a retired employee of Star Construction with 49 years of service. Preceded in death by father, Vick Bailey.

Survivors: wife of 47 years, Judy (Munsey) Bailey; mother, Fousteen Bailey; daughter, Melissa (Eric) Logsdon; son, Steve (Misty) Bailey; grandchildren, Preston Logsdon, Lance, Mackenzie and Addisyn Bailey; brothers, John (Sheila) Bailey and Rick Bailey, all of Washburn. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Friday, October 20, 2017 with funeral services to follow 8 P.M. Friday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Darrell Williams, Rev. Keith Williams officiating with music by The Williams Family. Interment 11 A.M. Saturday, October 21, 2017, Liberty Hill Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends will meet 10 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Jason Munsey, Clayton Bailey, Brad Bailey, Greg Nicley, Josh Patton, Rick Atkins, Kevin Merritt. Honorary Pallbearers: Chris Bailey, Jackie Munsey, Martin Nicely, Bill Farmer, Shane Collins, Joe Nicley. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
