Obituary for Randolph H. "Ranny" Turner

Randolph H. “Ranny” Turner-age 82 of Maynardville passed away Monday morning, October 2, 2017 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member and deacon of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Hazel and Hattie J. Turner; brother, Edward Turner; sisters, Anna Mae Turner, Faustine Dukes, Waywona Johnson; great-grandson, Sylas Richardson.

Survivors: wife of 59 years, Ina Carol Turner; daughter and son-in-law, Barb and Michael Smith; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy E. and Rhonda Turner, Roger and Angie Turner; granddaughters, Lynsey and Nathan Richardson, Bekah Turner, Carolbeth Turner; great-grandson, Sawyer Richardson.

The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 with funeral services to follow 7 P.M. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Bryan Cooke, Rev. Philip King officiating with music by the Cedar Grove Quartet. Interment 11 A.M. Thursday, October 5, 2017, Beeler Cemetery, Hickory Valley Road, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet 10 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Doyle Edward Dukes, Donnie Nicely, Austin Nicely, Devin Nicely, Mike Capps, Chester Sturgeon. Honorary Pallbearers: Deacons of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
