Charlie Edward  Cox
Charlie Edward Cox-age 77 of Maynardville passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at home. He was a member of Pennington Chapel Baptist Church and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Preceded in death by wife, Margie Louise Cox; son, Joey Edward Cox; parents, Porter and Roberta Cox; brother, Billy Joe Cox.

Survivors: son, Timothy Scott Cox; granddaughters, Brandi Hope Cox and Taylor Buckner; sisters, Dovie Smith, Mickie Nicley, Kathy Jones; brothers, James Edward Cox and Robert Earl Cox. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Sunday, October 1, 2017 with funeral services to follow at 7 P.M. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Gabril Haynes officiating with music by The Haynes Family. Interment 1 P.M. Monday, October 2, 2017, Walton Cemetery, Washburn. Military graveside honors will be presented by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Family and friends will meet 12 Noon Monday at the funeral home to go in the funeral procession. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
