Obituary for Irene Muncey Sweet

Irene Sweet-age 63 of Maynardville passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at U. T. Medical Center. She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Rob and Birdie Muncey; brothers, Larry Muncey, Doyle Wayne Muncey, Austin (Dock) Muncey, Herbert (Bill) Muncey, Willis Muncey, R. J. Collins; sisters, Ethel Pearl Collins, Juanita Cooper, Elsie Hobock .

Survivors: sons, Gary Lynn Sweet and John Christopher Sweet, both of Maynardville; Two grandchildren; sisters, Lillian Marie Evans, Mary Jane Blackburn, Bessie Hackney and Louise Brown; brother, Glen Muncey; Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Graveside service and interment 2 P.M. Saturday, August 26, 2017, Big Barren Cemetery, Maynardville with Rev. Charles Muncey officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 A.M. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the funeral home for burial expenses. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
