Leroy "Roy" W. McNair

Maynardville, TN

Leroy "Roy" W. McNair, age 75 of Maynardville, Tennessee, passed away on July 22, 2017. Roy was born in Binghamton, New York on February 6, 1942 and moved to East Tennessee in the early 1970s.

He was a born again Christian and a retired over the road truck driver and also a member of the Union County Rescue Squad.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Morris W. McNair and Ethel M. Daniels McNair Allard; brother Douglas A. Allard and sons Gregory McDaniel and Jeffrey McDaniel.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley McNair; his faithful companion Gizmo; daughter Christi Ramlow (Barry); son Earl Sexton (Felicia); grandson Tyler Murrell; 4 other grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sons Chad McNair and Charlie McNair; brothers Dan McNair (Diana) Albuquerque, New Mexico; Tom McNair (Angie) of Knoxville, Tennessee; Bob McNair (Peggy) of Fort Worth, Texas and many nieces, nephews and special friends.

A memorial service will be held July 30, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Revival Vision Church of God, 154 Durham Drive in Maynardville. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to Union County Rescue Squad.
