Obituary for Roy Dan Hensley
Roy Dan Hensley-age 51 of Maynardville went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 24, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, James Gene and Inez Hensley; brother, Kevin Hensley; mother-in-law, JoAnn Muncey; sister-in-law, Rebecca Smith.
Survived by wife and best friend, Brandy Flatford Hensley; sons, Roy Devin Hensley and fiancée, Rhiannon Clark; Dalton Shane Hensley, Timothy Edward Flatford and fiancée, Heather Anderson; Michael Lee Ridenour; grandchildren, Leon Scott Hensley, Natalya Anderson, Kandyn Glen Bolin, Grace Ann Flatford. Brothers, David and Mary Davis, James and Marie Hensley; sisters, Nellie “Reece” Free, Karen and Perry Corum, twin-sister, Lori Ann and James Cassidy. Several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Alesha Ray Corum, Adam Smith, Kenneth “Roundhead” and Tami Hooks, Mikey Russell. Our hearts are breaking because we miss you, but we know you’re not suffering anymore.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Daniel Corum, Rev. Doyle Wolfenbarger officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017, Beeler Cemetery, Luttrell. Family and friends will meet 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession. Pallbearers: Josh Corum, D. J. Corum, Adam Smith, Zack Corum, David Davis, Travis Cassidy, Travis Brogan. Honorary Pallbearers: Roy Devin Hensley, Dalton Shane Hensley. In lieu of flowers, donations for funeral expenses may be made at the funeral home. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
