Nella Faye Muncey Atkins-age 76 of Luttrell went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at her home. She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Nella is the last surviving child of a family of 13; the children of the late Bill and Lilly Muncey to include sisters: Ina Tharp, Alverta Wyrick, Ruth Wallace, Betty Jane Mynatt, Mossie Hensley, Trula Seymour; brothers: Clyde, Claude, Hubert, Arthur, Martin and Junior Muncey. Nella is survived by her husband: Donald Atkins of Luttrell. Several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Leonard Goin, Rev. Mike Keck officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, Big Barren Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:15 a.m. Friday to go in procession. Pallbearers: Clyde Wyrick, Claude Muncey, Sammie Muncey, Lonnie Parker, Matthew Clapp, Jeffrey Parker. Honorary Pallbearers: James Hunter and John Muncey.
