Obituary for Dorothy Ray

Dorothy Ray-age 61 of Maynardville went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 9, 2017 at her home. Member of Alder Springs Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Andy and Maggie Ray; brother, Junior Ray, Gladys Ray and Mary Teresa Ray.

Survivors: sisters, Pearl Ray, Pauline Caldwell and husband, Jeff; brothers, J. C., Troy and wife, Helen, E. J., and Clarence Ray; Step-son, Nicholas Wilson; aunts, Sally Berry and Mary Ray; sister-in-law, Carolyn Ray. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Special friends, Virginia and Patricia McPhetridge, Bill and Alice Malone.

The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Sunday, June 11, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Sunday, Alder Springs Baptist Church, Rev. Jimmy Davidson officiating with music by the Alder Springs Choir. Interment 11 A.M. Monday, June 12, 2017, Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10:30 A.M. Monday. Pallbearers: Clarence Ray, Scott Ray, Max Ray, Bill Malone, Jason Malone, Curtis Dyke. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
