Obituary for Mary Thomas Mills
Mary Thomas Mills-age 61 of Luttrell went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Turkey Creek Medical Center. She is preceded in death by parents, Earl (Jawbone) and Bertha Thomas; infant brother, Charles Edward Thomas, sisters, Annie Carpenter, Bernice Mullins, Kathy Thomas.
Survived by her loving husband of 40 years, David Mills, Luttrell; children, Danny (Tonya) Thomas, James Mills, all of Luttrell; Jason (Michelle) Mills of Knoxville; Candy (Bobby) Tharp of Maynardville. Mary had ten grandchildren who she loved more than life itself. They were for sure her pride and joy; Megan, Jeremy, Chase and Reagan Tharp, Chasity and Kendra Thomas, Hayden and Easton Mills, Kayla Rush, Isaiah Mills. Brothers, H. C. Thomas and Boo Thomas; sister, Peggy Brooks; mother-in-law, Bertha McCampbell. Several nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Gary Beeler, Rev. Jason Dyer officiating with music by The Williams Family along with Jason and Shelba Dyer. Interment will follow at Wyrick Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Lynn Carpenter, Lance Thomas, Brandon Thomas, Phillip Lamb, Terry Young, Anthony Hill. Honorary Pallbearers: Tony Hitson, Wes Atkins, Larry Brooks, Josh Carpenter. Special friends, Alice Thomas and Nancy Crider. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 26 2017 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
