Kenneth Ray  Williams
Kenneth Ray Williams-age 70 of Luttrell took his Heavenly flight Saturday, May 20, 2017 at his home with his family by his side after a brief illness. He was born July 22, 1946 in Luttrell and was a member of Powder Springs Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Chairman of the Deacon Board and was Choir Director for many years. He was a Deacon for 47 years and a General Contractor for 50 years. Preceded in death by parents, Homer and Cleo (Dyer) Williams; father and mother-in-law, George H. and Anna Mae “Doll” Savage.

Survivors: Loving wife of 50 years, Faye Savage Williams; special daughter, Tammy Williams; aunt, Emma Williams. He is also survived by a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Richard Nicley, Rev. Darrell Williams officiating with music by The Williams Family. Interment 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 24. 2017, George H. Savage Family Cemetery, Luttrell. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10 a.m. Wednesday to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Steven Branscomb, Kenneth “Dink” Brown, Sidney Allen Jessee, Jr., Matthew Leonard, David Savage, Sammy Savage. Honorary Pallbearers: Charlie Burchfield, Kenny Brown, Wayne Brock, Sidney Jessee, Jim Jones, Ted Leonard, Dr. Rodney Sturgeon, Rev. Bob Zavattieri. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
