Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mae Kitts can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Mae Sands Kitts-age 79 of Luttrell, born May 11, 1938 went home to be with our Heavenly Father Saturday, May 13, 2017 at her home with family and friends at her side. She was a kind and loving mother. Preceded in death by daughter, Janice Perry, grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeramiah Kitts, Eli Smith, mother, Cecil Sands; father, Luther Sands; sisters, Edith Bailey, Edna Kitts, Pearl Sands; brothers, Esco Sands, Charlie Sands, Freeman Sands, Carl Sands and Edgebert Sands.

Survivors: sons, Mike, David and Bobby Kitts; daughter, Crystal Lee. Ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Roscoe and Ralph Sands; sister, Juanita Seymour. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Tim Sharp, Rev. Jason Dyer officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, Luttrell Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10 a.m. Tuesday to go in the procession. Pallbearers: Doyle Sands, Scott Sands, Ricky Sands, Craig Perry, Shawn Perry, Jeff Wilkerson, Honorary Pallbearers: Adam Leach and Robert Lee. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
