Obituary for Christopher Ray Burkhart

Christopher Ray Burkhart (Master Sergeant U. S. Air Force Retired)-age 60 of Strawberry Plains passed away 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. Chris served 22 years in the U. S. Air Force. Preceded in death by parents, Arnold and Emily (Vanbebber) Burkhart; sister, Patricia Burkhart.

Survivors: daughters, Kelsie Lee Kropff and husband, Michael of Corryton; Samantha Burkhart of High Ridge, Missouri; brother, Michael Burkhart and wife, Melissa of Strawberry Plains; sister, Cathy Nicley of Maynardville. Nephews, David Nicley, Jacob Jeffreys, Liam Burkhart; nieces, Patricia Burkhart, Emily Burkhart; great-nephew, Alan Nicley.

The family will receive friends 10-11 A.M. Saturday, April 29, 2017 with memorial military service to follow at 11 A.M. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
