Obituary for Naomi Rose Grimes (Ferguson)

Naomi Rose Grimes-age 74 of Maynardville passed away 8 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She was saved at an early age and was a member of Old Rugged Cross Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Roy Clifford and Rosa Mae Ferguson; brothers, Glen and Joe Ferguson; sisters, Vera and Violet Ferguson; grandson, Matthew Butcher.

Survivors: husband, Franklin D. Grimes; children, Robin (Gary) Flynn; Daris Braden; Scott Braden; Misty Little; Monty (Missy) Walker; Franklin D. Grimes, II.; Two sisters, Jean Wise and Joyce Butler, both of Corryton. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Keith Fox, Rev. Monty Walker officiating with music by Karen Fox and Tyler Fox. Interment will follow at Haun Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Daris Braden, Scott Braden, Dee Grimes, II, Joe Grimes, Chris Reagan, Donald James Butcher. Honorary Pallbearers: Michael Walker, Daris (Bubby) Braden. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2016, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
