Obituary for Roy Edwards, Jr.

Roy Edwards, Jr.-age 67 of Luttrell went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 6, 2016 after a long illness. He attended Union Missionary Baptist Church, Luttrell. To be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Survivors: wife of 47 years, Kathy Jo Edwards; daughter, Christie Hutson and husband, Curtis; son, Lance Edwards and wife, Crystal; grandsons, Ryan Hutson (Nancy), Christopher Hutson (Breanna); granddaughter, Hannah Edwards; great-grandson, Connor Hutson; sister, Roxanne Russell and husband, Lou, Debbie Murray and husband, Dan; half-brother, Mike Edwards; half-sister, Amy Edwards Fields and husband, Scott. Special companion and buddy, Spanky.

The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 with funeral services to follow at 8 P.M. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jack Walker, Pastor Roger Lee officiating with music by Autumn and Abby Arsenault, Look Up and Live Singers, and Kari Arsenault. Military graveside services 11 A.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2016, Skaggs Cemetery, Maynardville with Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Curtis Hutson, Ryan Hutson, Christopher Hutson, Tony Cox, Robbie Cox and John Whitaker.
