Obituary for Patricia Sue "Pat" Phipps (Adams)

Mrs. Patricia S. (Adams) Phipps-age 68 of Powder Springs went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Ft. Sander’s Regional Medical Center. She was a faithful member of Johnson’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Jimmie Phipps; parents, James Adams; Ilene (Needham) and Jasper Atkins; two infant grandsons, Noah and Benjamin Dalton.

Survivors: daughter, Tina Phipps Dalton and husband, Chris of Bean Station; son, Martin “Marty” Phipps and wife, Pam of Washburn; grandchildren, Kristina Dalton and fiancé, Zach Noe; Hannah Dalton and fiancé, Josh Johnson; grandson, Jordan Nicley; sisters, Teresa Atkins and Cindy (Jack) Montgomery; sister-in-law, Francis Phipps of Indian Town, Florida. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends along with her Johnson’s Chapel Church family.

Funeral services 1 P.M. Saturday, June 18, 2016, Johnson’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Rev. Greg Hurst officiating with music by Johnson Chapel Church Singers. Interment to follow at Doyle Wayne Needham Cemetery, Powder Springs. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M.
