Obituary for Doyle Wayne Kitts
Doyle Wayne Kitts-age 68 of Maynardville passed away 11:50 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Doyle was a member of Warwick Chapel Baptist Church. He loved his family, his music and being a barber.
Preceded in death by son, Marvin (Tex) Bolin; parents, Hobart and Lallie (Donehew) Kitts; brothers, Carl (Pete) Kitts; Harvey Kitts, William (Buster) Kitts, Marshall Kitts.
Survivors: former-wife, Jean Kitts; son, Doyle Wayne, Jr.; sisters, Ella Mae Keck, Ethel Lee Hankins, of Indiana; his loving sister and caregiver, Ruby Wyrick of Corryton.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2015 with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Ray Headrick, Rev. Paul Thomas Hughes officiating with music by Mavis Hughes and family. Interment 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016, Dyer Cemetery , Luttrell. Pallbearers: Marlin Faust, Dwight Dyer, Dennie Bates, Billie Wallace, Mark Wallace, David Staley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
