Obituary for Hassell Rebert Ritter

Hassell Rebert Ritter-age 83 of Washburn passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. He was born in Washburn, December 30, 1932 the son of the late Enoch and Lennie Ritter. He was retired from the U. S. Postal Service and as an auctioneer.

Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bedford, Clinton and Wendell Ritter; sisters, Delta Johnson and Alice Johnson.

Survivors: daughter, Karen (Keith) Fox; son, Max (Melissa) Ritter, all of Washburn; grandchildren, Brandon (Kensey) Fox of Rutledge; Jake (Alicia) Fox of Jacksboro; Tyler (Kelly) Fox; Anthony and Aaron Ritter, Alicia (Matthew) McGinnis, all of Washburn; great-grandchildren, Lily and Raylan, Abel, Aurora and Axel, Emily Fox and unborn Addison Faith McGinnis. Special lady of 30 years, Frances Dunn of Mascot and her family, Rita Bozeman, Tammy Soloman, Ruth Ann Long, Teresa Bailey and Jimmy Welch. Brothers, Nelius (Ann) Ritter of Kissimmee, Florida; Lawrence (Doris) Ritter of Bean Station; Douglas Ritter of Washburn; sister, Elizabeth Wilmoth of Tazewell. Several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his caregivers, Angela Chesney, Reba Wilmoth and Dorothy Hayes for their loving care.

The family will receive friends 10-12 Noon Saturday, April 16, 2016 with funeral services to follow at 12 Noon Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Justin Ritter, Rev. Jack Ritter officiating with music by Tyler Fox and Tim Day. Interment will follow at the Roberts-Ritter Cemetery, Washburn. Pallbearers: Brandon Fox, Tyler Fox, Jake Fox, Anthony Ritter, Aaron Ritter, Matthew McGinnis, Stanley Ritter, Jackson Ritter. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
