Elsie Lorena (Grigsby) Evans-age 97 of Luttrell was born January 28, 1919 passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. She was raised in Luttrell and a lifetime member of Cedar Ford Baptist Church. She loved her family and loved to have friends come visit, where they were always greeted with a smile, good conversation and sometimes a good meal. When she went home to meet her Heavenly Father, waiting to welcome her with open arms were, husband, Charles Evans; parents, W. J. and Mae (Dyer) Grigsby; brother, Kenneth Grigsby and wife, Georgia; sisters, Hazel, Willie Mae and Emma Grigsby; Cecile Green and husband, Alvin, Georgella Booker and husband, Adron; children, Kenneth and Marie Underwood.

Left to forever miss her, nephew, Lannie Grigsby and wife, Patsy; nieces, Carolyn Norton, Kathy Lovelace and husband, Roy; Sharon Varner; grand-nephews, special one, Scott Norton and fiancée, Leah; Greg Norton and wife, Stephanie; Lance Grigsby and wife, Lori; Randy Woods and wife, Penny; Jason Smith and wife, Brandie; grand-nieces, Michelle Norton, LeAnn Warwick, Brittney McKinnis; great-grandnephews, special one, Noah Norton, Parker Norton, Liam Smith, Seth Grigsby, Colin McKinnis and Christian Smith; great-grandnieces, Beth Norton, Haleigh and Holly Warwick, Karla Woods, Lexie Smith; special friends, Faye Russell, Lois Collier, Shirley Kitts, Johnnie Sharp Jackie Israel and many more friends to many to name, but all loved and well thought of.

Funeral services 1 P.M. Saturday, March 19, 2016, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Reverend Jeff Leach officiating. Interment will follow at Luttrell Cemetery with pallbearers, Lannie and Lance Grigsby, Scott, Noah and Greg Norton, Randy Wood. Honorary Pallbearers, Tony Hayes, Butch Grigsby, Earl Russell, Sammy Booker, Earl Stowers, Ted Greene. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Friday, March 18, 2016 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
