Mr. Danny Edward Lawson-age 68 of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 11, 2015. He was of the Baptist faith and an U. S. Army Veteran. Preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Beulah Pane Lawson; sisters, Peggy Robinson and Susie Reynolds; brother, Jeff Lawson. Survived by wife and best friend of 20 years, Renée Lawson; sons, Bobby, Barry and Daniel Lawson; Daddy’s girl, Lindsey (Jordan) Summitt. Grandson, Kenny, Michael (Tiffany) Lawson, Noah, Liam and Elijah Summitt; great-grandsons, Michael and Matthew Lawson. Sisters, Pat Horner and Brenda Bozeman; brothers, Ted and John Lawson. Several nieces and nephews. Thank you to all family and friends for all your prayers and a special thank you to Marian Taylor Lawson, Sammy and Karen Mitchell. Military graveside service 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2015, East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway, Knoxville with Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard in charge. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2015 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
